Our tour time is our start time. We will begin our vehicle orientation and safety briefing on time. We can’t begin until all business is complete including check-in, Participant Agreements and gear fittings. We do all of this prior orientation to maximize riding time. Your email confirmation will have important information about what time you should arrive, please read it carefully. For most tours you must arrive 15 minutes prior to start time. Out of courtesy to other guests, if you are not here with all business complete and gear selected when orientation begins, you may forfeit your spot on the tour without refund. Think of it like catching a flight. You wouldn’t arrive at the airport at departure time. If you have any questions about this, please CONTACT US.

Moab Wanderer tours depart from our location at 1041 S. Main Street. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance for check-in and safety briefing so we can depart on time.

However, in cases of extreme weather that requires us to cancel, we will offer you the opportunity to reschedule or receive a refund.
Our adventures are sure to be among the highlights of your visit to Moab. We recommend you plan your ride with us, early in your stay for opportunity to reschedule if weather does become a factor. Not only that, but you’ll be spending at least a few hours with a local guide. They love giving tips on other things to do while you are here. We think hanging out with us early in your visit can help make the rest of your stay even better.

Absolutely. We are proud to bring you Moab’s safest Side By Side fleet. Custom performance roll cages exceed manufacturers bolt together safety standard. We equip them with front and rear bumpers and rock rails protecting soft plastic body panels that can give way. You have a left and right side mirrors as well as an upgraded center rearview mirror offering a wide radius view. We equip each UTV with OEM safety harnesses. Lastly, our tour fleet is impeccably maintained and exclusively used for guided tours. What does this mean? Your vehicle has never been out of our sight. While we tackle the tough trails, we do so with skill that we pass along to our guests so you can be sure your vehicle has not been “driven like a rental” at any time.
And, as for the Moab Mega Buggy, we custom-built this vehicle to the highest safety standards. Our mega buggy features 4-point safety harnesses, racing seats, and is made of 2” heavy wall DOM tubing. In addition, while most touring vehicles have some sort of sport bar or cage bolted onto a finished vehicle, Epic’s mega buggy is one giant roll cage chassis, allowing it to handle even the most intense terrain in the safest manner with ease.
Our newest touring giant Moab Wanderer continues our commitment to brining you Moab’s safest fleet. We began with a brand new vehicle with reliability and modern safety features from the manufacturer then, we take it to another level. Our 2” heavy duty tube-built passenger cabin is a full safety cage properly engineered and triangulated. Our steel frame suspension seats are equipped with safety harnesses rather than lap belts. Deep footwells keep your feet solidly planted so your knees are not in your face because your seat is on the vehicle floor.

Minor children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Moab Wanderer is suitable for all ages. Children under 30 pounds will be required to ride inside the vehicle cab and parents must bring their own child safety seats.
Older adults will also have a great time on our tours. In fact, one of our staff members brought along her 92-year-old grandmother who had a blast!
