Epic 4x4 Adventures' Terms & Conditions


  • All guests will be required to sign a Participant Agreement, Release and Assumption of Risk to participate in activities. Parents and legal guardians will be required to sign for minor children. Additionally, UTV Tour drivers will be required to sign a Driver Agreement. If these agreements are not signed, you will not be permitted to participate in your adventure. Choosing not to sign will not be grounds for a refund and our cancellation policy will apply.
  • Minor participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • A qualified driver for our UTV You-Drive tours is a licensed driver between the ages of 18 and 75. Drivers must present actual driver’s license. Photocopies or pictures will not be accepted.
  • Check in for You-Drive SXS/UTV Tours is 30 minutes prior to departure time. You must arrive 30 minutes prior to departure to select gear, sign agreements and waivers and receive a thorough orientation to your UTV.Vehicle orientation begins 15 minutes prior to departure time. Out of courtesy to all tour participants, if you are not here and ready to participate, with all other business completed, you WILL forfeit your spot on this tour without refund.
  • $15.00 — Vehicle Damage Waiver – Required for all UTV/You-Drive Tours $15/Vehicle Damage Waiver limits your out-of-pocket costs to $1000+tax for damage to our equipment in the event of an accident. Your damage waiver also includes damage to one tire OR one drive belt with a $30 deductible in the event of damage. Damage Waiver is void if the damage is a result of reckless driving or failure to follow your guide’s instruction. Damage Waiver is void if you are found to have ANY alcohol or drugs in your system at the time of damage.
  • When you sign an agreement for our UTV/You Drive Tours you become a covered driver under our liability insurance subject to all policy terms and conditions. This coverage has a $2500 deductible per accident so if you are involved in an accident with any other person, vehicle or property you agree to pay us $2500 at the time of the accident regardless of fault in the accident.
  • Our coverage provides the following limits of liability:
    • $100,000 per person for bodily injury
    • $50,000 for property damage
    • $300,000 total for any one accident
    • Everyone’s insurance needs are different and we make no representation that our liability limits are adequate for you. We are not insurance brokers, agents or providers. If you have questions about coverages, we suggest you contact your insurance agent/broker.
  • If some members of your group are on time, we will take all on-time participants that have properly signed waivers even if the reserving party is not present. No refunds will be given for guests that were not on time for their adventure. Absolutely no alcohol may be brought on your adventure. You will not be permitted to participate if your guide believes you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, legal or illegal. No refunds will be given if you are unable to participate due to alcohol or drug use.
  • UTV You-Drive tour reservations of 1-2 vehicles and ALL Moab Mega Buggy Ride-Along reservations will receive a full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours in advance of tour departure time. UTV You-Drive tour reservations of 3-4 vehicles will receive a full refund if cancelled at least 7 days in advance of tour departure time. Private UTV You-Drive tour reservations and reservations of 5+ vehicles will receive a full refund if cancelled 30 days in advance of tour departure time. Guests will receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Your guide is there to ensure you have a safe adventure. You are required to follow all instructions of the guide at all times.
  • Your itinerary is a guide, not a contract. The itinerary may be changed at any time before or during your adventure. Changes to the itinerary are not grounds for a refund.
  • We typically operate rain or shine. Rain can often make our scenery even more beautiful. If you choose not to participate due to rain our cancellation policy regarding refunds will be applied. In the event we cancel for extreme weather events, you will receive a full refund.
  • Any applicable refunds due are refunded to the party that made the original reservation.

Epic 4X4 Adventures follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Like any other website, Epic 4X4 Adventures uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited.
