Protect the vehicle*
If your vehicle is damaged while you ride, know that your out-of-pocket costs and loss of use charges will be capped. Damage out of pocket maximum is only $3,000 and recovery and loss of use is capped at $750 with our included, Adventure Assure protection.
Protect your liability
If you injure another person or damage property during your ride, your rental carries liability coverage.
Coverage up to $15,000. Covers the legal liability of the driver (rider operating the vehicle) for third-party property damage or injuries resulting from an accident they caused. Coverage is not provided for property damage or injuries to another person on the same adventure rental.
Protect your group
Accident insurance for every rider in the vehicle.
Up to $25,000 accidental medical and dental expense benefit per rider, including evacuation and accidental death and dismemberment.

Adventure Assure Program
Adventure Assure is a suite of protections only offered at Epic 4X4 Adventure in Moab as a Polaris Adventures Elite outfitter. It provides:
- Vehicle Damage Protection: Covers repair costs if the vehicle is damaged.
- Driver Liability Insurance: Covers third-party property damage or injuries caused by the driver.
- Participant Accident Insurance: Covers medical expenses for injuries during the rental period.
- Loss of Use and Recovery: Limits costs for vehicle downtime or recovery.
How does damage protection work?
Adventure Assure Damage Protection safeguards you from large, unexpected costs due to accidental damage. Your responsibility is cappped at $3000. You don’t face surprise expenses beyond that amount. With other companies, you are responsible for 100% of the damage costs up to the full value of the vehicle.
Adventure Assure provides peace of mind for the unexpected, covering accidental damage when you’re out exploring. But just like any great adventure, responsibility matters. Reckless driving, unlawful behavior, or pushing limits beyond safe operation will void your coverage. We’re here to protect those who ride responsibly—so gear up, stay smart, and enjoy the ride!

No, we do not require proof of auto insurance. While other operators may ask for it, most auto policies do not cover UTVs. At Epic 4X4 Adventures, we include comprehensive coverage with every rental. These coverages are designed to assist with liability, medical, and damage protection. These coverages are unmatched by other providers in Moab. However, we are not insurance agents or brokers and cannot guarantee these coverages will meet your specific needs. We encourage you to review your coverage needs with your agent or broker to fully protect yourself.

RENTAL DETAILS
Our day begins at 8:00AM, 7 days per week. Pick up time varies per your reservation duration. See our calendar for availability to choose the time that fits your schedule best. For full day rentals, you may pick up your vehicle as early as 8:00AM and return by 5:00PM.
Your rental includes:
- A fully fueled and prepped vehicle.
- You must return the vehicle fully fueled with Premium fuel. (Receipt will be required.)
- Helmets and goggles.
- Cooler
- A detailed safety orientation.
- On-trail support.
- Polaris Ride-Command including trail maps.
- Adventure Assure

Our curated routes, preprogrammed in Ride Command, are designed to help you safely navigate the trail with confidence. You are not required to follow these routes but we’ve designed them to help you see all the scenic view points, get the best photo opportunities and ensure you don’t get lost. We’ve even built in Trail Cautions. These helpful tips for navigating areas requiring extra attention are the cornerstone of a safe and fun day.
Our rentals are limited to Hurrah Pass, Chicken Corners, Hell’s Revenge, Fins N’ Things and Sand Flats Road.
Yes, our UTVs are street legal and insured. You must not travel on any road with a speed limit greater than 45 mph and obey all traffic laws.
All side roads in Moab limit UTVs to 15 mph. This limit is strictly enforced. On Main Street, you must follow posted speed limit signs and travel with the safe flow of traffic.
No, all passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the floor and have their back against the backrest. Children smaller than this are not permitted as passengers in the UTV.
The Polaris RZR ProR is equipped with 6-point harnesses for your safety. There is no way to secure a car seat in these safety harnesses.
Pets are not permitted in our rentals. In the event of an accident, there is just no way to keep them safe in the vehicle.
You are required to refuel the UTV upon return. We require premium octane fuel and your receipt upon return.
No need to clean the vehicles. Cleaning is included.
Please be aware that excessive mud in and over the vehicle roof may be charged a cleaning fee up to $250.
Multi-Day Rentals are available for 2 to 4 days. Pick-up is 8:00AM on day one and return by 5:00PM on the last day of your rental period.
Policies
The minimum age to drive a self-guided adventure rental UTV with Epic 4X4 Adventures is 25 years old, which promotes safety and complies with our insurance requirements. If you’re looking for a younger driver option, our outstanding guided tours allow drivers as young as 18—or even 16 and 17 when accompanied by a parent.
Rental Reservations may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 72 hours’ notice.
Late returns will incur additional fees.
We allow up to 15 minutes of grace. After 15 minutes, you will incur a late fee of $99. After 1 hour, your fee will be $199. Afer 2 hours, you will be charged for a full-day rental.
Please plan to return your vehicle on time including allowing time to fuel your vehicle.
For your safety, all drivers and passengers are required to wear a properly fitted DOT approved or Snell certified helmet.
Helmets are provided for all riders.
You may bring your own helmet that meets the DOT or Snell requirement.
Yes, beginning January 1, 2023, Utah began requiring all off-highway vehicle operators to complete the Utah Off-Highway Vehicle Education Course. Completion of this ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ course is required under Utah Code 41-22-31(1)(B) in order for you to operate an off-highway vehicle or street legal off-highway vehicle in Utah.
You must bring proof of completion of this course when you pick up your vehicle.
All primary renters are required to sign our Terms & Conditions prior to taking possession of a vehicle. These include rules on trail restrictions, safety expectations, GPS tracking, conduct, and financial responsibility.
