This means you’ll have access to a wealth of knowledge and insights that you simply wouldn’t get on your own. Your guide will be able to point out interesting geological formations, explain the history of the region, and share fascinating stories about the people who have lived in Moab over the centuries. We always recommend you join us early in your visit to Moab. You’ll be spending a few hours with a local that can offer tips to enhance the rest of your stay.
Safety
Exploring Moab’s rugged terrain can be exhilarating, but it can also be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. Taking a guided UTV tour is a great way to ensure your safety while still enjoying the excitement of off-roading. Epic 4X4 Adventures highly trained guides will provide you with safety tips, instructions on how to operate the UTV, and guidance on how to navigate the terrain safely. It doesn’t stop there though. We equip our cars properly, adding safety features others overlook. Our founder, a 40 year automotive design engineer, replaces the bolt together roof system on the stock UTV with a fully triangulated and welded one-piece roll cage made of heavy wall tubing. We replace the lap and shoulder belt with a ratcheting and retractable 6-point harness. On the trail we are in constant radio communication with you so you never have any doubt what you should be doing behind the wheel.
Unique Perspective
Seeing Moab from the seat of a UTV provides a unique and thrilling perspective on the landscape. You’ll be able to get up close and personal with the region’s iconic red rock formations, and feel the rush of wind and adrenaline as you navigate Moab’s unique terrain. A UTV can cover some ground too. A capable UTV can travel faster in the back country than a full size 4X4 giving us opportunity to see and do more in the same amount of time.
